Tonight I discovered Emma's 1st tooth! I try to make it a habit to stick my finger in their mouths so I know if it has come thru or not and I have never felt anything until tonight!
I ran my fingers across Emma's gum and my heart skipped a beat when I felt a little pinch on the tip of my finger!
I can't believe my big girl has a tooth already! I thought for sure Molly would get her 1st tooth before Emma. When Molly was about 5 Months old I felt what I thought was a tooth breaking through, but the next day it was gone! I had never felt it since. Someone told me that sometimes they will come up then sink back in, so I thought that's what had happened but....to this day it has never returned.
I know she is next though. When I look at her gums I can see where two teeth want to break through, they just havent done so yet!
You can't actually see Emma's tooth but this is a picture of her about 5 minutes after I discovered her tooth was there.
She is pretty excited about her big girl tooth as well! I made a super big deal about it for her. Even gave her, her 1st "big girl dinner" to eat with her 1st "big girl tooth". :)
I grounded up some chicken and rice and mixed it with water for a soft consistency for her. She had a few bites, but wasn't quite sure about it.
