Kaylee Turns 3!!!

17 Months
17 Months!
Growing So Fast!
The funny thing about the above picture is that it was immediate
de-ja-vu for me when I took it!

I had flash backs of this very moment!
Oh my Funny Lil' Emma,
You are following directions very well these days! If Mommy says "go find your cup" you will start looking for your cup! If Mommy tells you to go get your blankie, pick up your paci, or whatever...you are very good about doing so!
You have started to clean up messes at times when you make them. And by this I mean, when you throw your clothes left & right out of your dresser, you also go back and pick them up and put them back in your dresser!
You are very very loving! You love giving hugs, especially to your sister! Mommy caught a quick moment on video of you being so sweet to your sister who was not very happy at the moment! But as soon as you hugged her, her tears briefly turned into smiles. :)
You continue to carry your blankie around when you are sleepy! One thing that makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside about you is everytime Mommy says, " ok girls its about time to go night night" you will grab your blankie and start heading down the hall to your room! You will often beat me to your room, because I am trying to catch Molly who takes off in the opposite direction as fast as she can anytime she hears me say "night night" lol.
Whenever I put Molly to bed first, you stand at your crib so patiently waiting on me to put you in your bed next! You love your rest, and you give me no grief about needing it either :)

Anytime I make dinner for Mommy & Daddy I always offer it to you and sometimes you take it, other times you dont...so I always try to have what I do know you will eat prepared.
You are in a very talkative stage right now! You are constantly talking about something! You will even make eye contact with me, and with your sweet high pitched voice you will just jibber jabber away in that own sweet language of yours! I will talk right back to you so that you know every word you say is very important to me! You often make mommy laugh, because as you are carrying on, I will ask you "REALLY?!?" and I swear it sounds like you answer me with a cute drawn out " yeeeeeah!" :-)
You have this face that you make, that is so adorable to me. You sometimes do it right before your fake whine! :) You will squint your eyes while your mouth is in the shape of a open smile, except instead of really "smiling" you make a loud sound that goes something like that (eh-huh) "eeeeeh, huuuuuh!"
haha I cant help but laugh at you everytime! I am going to try and get a picture next time u do this!
You have figured out how to balance. You love to stand on your higher up toys, and let go, or you like to walk on Mommy when she is laying on the floor. Eachtime, you fall I hear that cute "Uh-Oh" of yours! Your uh-oh is super cute because you drag out the Oh. So it sounds like "UH!!Oooooh" lol
And your little mouth is SO dang cute when you say uh-oh! I caught you in action one day!

Makes me want to kiss those little lips all up! :-)

My Precious Little Molly Bear,
This past month has been the most worrysome month for both Mommy & Daddy, when it came to the ability for you to use your right leg & foot. BUT this picture above, says it all for me!
You have jumped leaps & bounds these past two weeks! You went from not even being able to stand independantly all the way to taking steps by yourself, in just a blink! The fire of determination inside of you brings me more pride then you will ever know! I am so amazed by you.
You are just as sweet and just as precious as your sister! I love love love how sweet and cuddly you continue to be. However, you are not very understanding when Mommy isnt always able to cuddle!
Sometimes, I need to go potty, or go take care of some stuff in the kitchen, and well you just dont like that! You want Mommy to sit and play non stop! :-)
Even though I am plum exhausted a lot of days, its okay because I know there will be a day that I will want these moments back.
You are an excellent eater! How you remain so skinny is beyond me! Your Basic likes are the same as Emma's! I always offer you what Mommy & Daddy are having and most of the time you do like it. You arent near as picky as your sister is!
You have a thing about chewing on diapers! Clean diapers of course...I am not sure why? haha I suppose its the softness of them? Anytime I lay you down to change your diaper I have to grab an extra diaper for you to hold too, or I catch the devil trying to change you.
You are my sneaky bear! You always sneak into the no the no places...the tv stand, the cabinets, etc...you are quiet as a mouse doing so too! And when I catch you holding something you aren't suppose to have you can tell by the tone in my voice I am coming after you, because you get the biggest grin on your face and take off crawling as fast as you possibly can to get away from me. It's so hard to be stern with you when you are so darn cute giggling at me while I am trying to reprimand you!
You are not so big on night night time! Although you normally go right to sleep once I lay you down, its the laying you down part you dont appreciate. When it comes time for bed I will say to you and your sister, "Ok girls, its almost time for bed, Are you ready to go night night?" and while Emma is grabbing her blankie headed down the hall....this is exactly what you do:

Haha! Silly Girl! I cant help but giggle when you do that. You don't have a single tear in your eye but if you hear "night night", you stop dead in your tracks & you make that face and let out such a pitiful whine. :-)
And when you see me walking towards you, you do what you do best....take off crawling 90mph to get away. I dont know what it is about you silly girl, but you havent yet figured out you can't run faster than mommy! ;-)
It's a real hoot when after chasing you, we actually get to your nursery. You turn your head over my shoulder, and make that same face all over again! :-(
I think you will be my little Drama Queen while Emma will be my Sassy Frass!
You crack me up when Mommy asks you a question...if the answer is no you shake that head "no" as fast as you can! LOL
OR when Mommy says "Give Mommy Kiss" you shake that head no super fast with a big grin on your face, but then if I pretend cry, and ask you for a kiss again...you will lean in and kiss me! :-)
You are a sweet girl!
Mommy has a total fetish with playing with your hair!
After all, you have plenty of it :-)
I love when you are sitting in my lap and letting me run my fingers through your hair over & over!
Your sister doesnt let me do that but you do, and I love it so much!
I love pulling your hair up in a pony tail too! I think the look is totally adorable on you.
You and Emma are such great friends! I pray that the two of you will always have the closeness you have today!

But I cant complain...more times than not you are playing very nicely with eacother. I understand that you two are just exploring your boundaries. Every relationship has them! ;)
Mommy's camera has been in the shop for what seems like forever so I have not been able to get near the pictures of you girls that I would like to. Hoping my camera is returned to me very very soon!
In the meantime, I know you will continue to grow, explore, learn, and will continue to be the precious little girl that you are!

My Walking Babies!
Today I had a Orthodontist appt to get my braces adjusted. I was way past due on needing to have this done.
My appointment today was scheduled the same time Molly has Physical Therapy.
So Emma went to my Ortho appointment with me while Daddy stayed behind with Molly.
Here is Emma helping Mommy get her braces adjusted. :)
Silly Girl sat in my lap the whole time I was getting my braces done! She was a very big girl for me, however eachtime the dentist would stick a "tool" in my mouth she would get scared & start crying :(
She was ok with the assistant putting her hands in my mouth to fix my wire & band but she wanted nothing to do with the actual Dentist putting his tools in Mommys mouth! :-)
Meanwhile, I am sitting there & hear my phone go off & when I got a chance to glance at it, I saw Rick had texted me a video and before I even opened it I had a gut feeling what he was about to show me. My heart skipped a beat. I was incredibly excited and very sad at the same time!
See for yourself what he sent me! ;)
The sad part for me was that I wasnt there to see it myself, but I was way more excited than I was sad. I was so relieved that she was able to do this! Molly has had such a hard time with her right leg & foot, that I truly did not think she would be able to do this until she was closer to 2.
Rick told me that when Molly started walking towards him, tears filled his eyes! Even with her PT there, Rick said it didnt matter who was in the room, he was just so proud of his big girl for showing us how determined she is!
Oh how I wish I could have been there, but I am so thankful Rick thought enough about me to record it!!!
He is such a good loving Daddy!
On the way home I was talking to Emma and telling her what Molly did, and told her that when we got home we had to make a big celebration about Molly's accomplishment! :)

AND....I was going back through some old Blog Entries and I saw the blog I had posted about Emma walking BUT I had mentioned blogger wasnt letting my upload videos at that time. I guess I forgot to come back and do it so here is a video of Emma when she very 1st started walking!
