So Long 2010!

Out of my 26 years of bringing in the "New Year" I have to say that 2010 was certainly the most unforgettable of all years for me.

2010 brought me the most joy, the most sorrow, the most trials, the most victories, the most strength, and the most weakness. It has brought me the most laughter as well as the most tears.

2010 was a year of defeat as well as a year of triumph for me.

2010 has been a year of Great Loss, as well as a year of Great Gain.

In this year past year, I was blessed with 2 amazingly beautiful little girls who fought so hard to be here. They defeated the odds that were against them, and not only are they here but they are healthy, happy, and they are MINE! I get to keep them all to myself! :)
I have never loved so hard in all my life until that first time I laid my eyes on them on that ultra sound screen.

They have added so much to our lives that it is unreal.

The Bible says that the Lord giveth, and He taketh away.

And that could not have been more true in my life this past year.

While he gave us 2 gorgeous little girls in March, We lost so many loved ones in the months that followed.

We lost Our Uncle Marty Blanton in June.
We Lost My Grandad Roger von der Hellen in July
And my sweet sweet Grandma Margie Parker in September.
And my Grandpa Steve in November.

Rick also lost his cousin Will Rabon while he was fighting for our freedom overseas.

As we say So Long to 2010,It is my Prayer that 2011 will be a year of healing, success, and continued happiness for our family and loved ones.

I look forward to the blessings God has in store for all of us in this coming year!

We had a nice New Years Eve Bringing in the New Year with some Great Friends! Here are some Pictures from our fun night.

Christmas from Grandpa Terry

Here are the girls opening their presents from their Grandpa,Joyce,Brennan,Chris,Aunt Tesha, and Great Grandmomma and Great Papa.
And I am naming them because that is all that I saw on the name tags. :)

There were a lot of presents with no name on them. But thank you to all, because we loved all of our gifts!

The joy of having such a large family is that I get to experience Christmas with my girls several times a year :)

It was so cute watching them try to tear into their presents!

Christmas All Over Again! See how excited they are? :)

I ADORE this picture. They are both concentrating so hard!

Look at those sweet grins!

I was very excited about these too! They are so darling, and those bows come off to be used in their hair or I can leave the bows on.

Love it!

And THIS is one of their most precious precious gifts to me. I will treasure this forever!

It's a Snow Day!

I can't believe the day after the girls first Christmas they also get to experience their 1st snow!
I was feeling SO exhausted today, and Rick had to work so I was on baby duty by myself. I was so tempted to not go thru the hassle of dressing them in warm gear to take snow pics.
But what kind of mommy would I be, if snow was in my very own backyard and I didn't take my girls out to see it??! :)

So out in the snow we went. And I am glad I did. These pictures of them in the snow are priceless!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas From the Rabon's!

This is our 6th Christmas Together!

We had a very exciting Christmas. The girls got so many fun toys. I am looking forward to watching them explore them all.

The girls did pretty well opening their gifts at home. They really got into holding on to big boxes and putting paper and bows in their mouths.

Our Christmas Morning started out with letting the girls open their Santa presents.

Christmas Morning walking down the hall coming into the living room letting the girls see their "Santa" presents for the 1st time.
Do they seem a little bit excited to you??!! :)

The girls love to jump and rock so much Santa brought the girls a Jumparoo!

Molly loves her new toy!

Emma observing her new toy!

The girls with their Stockings

Santa also left the girls a singing Frosty and Rudolph. :) Courtesy of their daddy who gets so very excited every year that Frosty and Rudolph come on Tv! haha

After we did "Santa" we all got dressed and headed over to my Inlaws to do our Christmas with them.

Christmas at Nannie and Papa's

The girls opening their Singing Kitchen from Aunt Stacey. Mommy was really excited about this present because she ALMOST bought it for them herself but decided against it because she had already spent too much.

Nannie helping Savannah open one of the presents Molly and Emma got her.
It was a Tinkerbell dinner set

Daddy helping Molly open her Book from Aunt Ashley

Emma trying to take her cousin Jackson's leapfrog. He was a good sport about it :) You can see the little smirk on Emma's face.

Molly getting some love from her Papa

After we left Nannie and Papa's house we came back to our house and I prepped dinner and we had my Mom, brothers, sisters, and some of my mom's extended family over.

After we ate, the girls got to open all their presents from Mommy, Daddy, and their Granny. We chose to wait until the evening to let the girls open their presents from Rick and I so that my mom could be apart of watching the girls open their presents on their 1st Christmas.

Christmas with Granny

This is the wrapping paper I used to wrap the girls presents from Rick and I! This paper is a little special because I found it after Christmas was over last year when I was pregnant with them. I remember buying it and telling Rick then " aww it has twin angels on it, I have to get this for our girls Christmas next year because they are our twin angels :) "
So that is the story behind the girls Christmas paper this year! I had bought enough of it that we will be able to use it again next year too!

Emma opening her 1st present from Granny. She had so much fun opening it and after my mom took it out the box for her she wanted nothing to do with anything else but that silly Gator!

The Girls opening more presents! These were some much needed bath toys from the Tams.
Love the Princess wrapping paper! :)

The Girls opening their very 1st set of twin dolls from their Aunt Tanna!

My mom has been telling my girls since they were in my belly that she is "Graaaanny and she has Caaaandy" I have yet to let her give my girls a taste of a lollipop and it is killing her. :) But I did tell her she could give them their 1st cookie. Gerber style of course :)

Here the girls are knawing on their 1st treat from their Granny!

Silly Molly is all about some wrapping paper!

Sweet Emma Grace!

My brothers and Sister

We put the girls in their pj's right before bed and Molly had to play just a little bit longer before we laid her down. She loves her new move and crawl ball from her Granny!
