A Day with Kaylee

Today our cousin Kaylee came to play while her Mommy & Daddy were out of town for a wedding.
The girls LOVED having Kaylee there to boss them around. hehe
They were so cute following her around & doing what she told them to do.
Here are some pictures from their playtime!

Emma, Kaylee, & Molly

I LOVE the pure laughter on Molly's face!
She is literally tickled pink! Look at that face!!!
(you can click on the picture to enlarge)

Now THIS is hilarious!!
Kaylee is telling them what to do as they play catch & they are both standing there ready to listen! LOL
Emma's hands are out & ready & Molly is just a grinnin'!

Sweet Molly

 Curious Emma

 Serious Kaylee

Love that Pretty Face!!!!

So Serious!

They each had to take a turn in the baby swing. lol

Silly Girls!

Kaylee came up to me & said "Blue Fish"
She was quite proud! And I was too to be honest! lol

Molly & Emma waiting patiently for Kaylee to give them a flash card. :)

Thank you for spending the day with us Kaylee! We had so much Fun!

**I have updated the 19 & 20 Months Albums. You may see them HERE.

20 Months!

Woweeeeee! 4 short months away from my baby girls turning two years old!
Somebody slap me silly!

Molly Bear!!!

You are so sweet! Still so loving & snuggly yet you do have very little patience about certain things (like riding in your carseat, or not wanting to lay still for a diaper change) & you express your frustrations quite clearly. Your new way of throwing a tantrum is by literally rolling across the floor while screaming. It doesnt usually last long tho. I think you realize it's too much work to roll & scream at the same time. :)

You are trying to talk so much more now & everytime I hear you say something new I get so proud & yell & clap & make a big deal about it for you. I love how you giggle at me when I do this.

Some favorite talks with you lately are:

Mommy: " Molly! Are you Mommy's special girl?"
Molly: ( grins & giggles & says real fast) "NO!"
Mommy: Whaaaaaat?!?! Yes you ARE!!!
(let's try again)
Mommy: "Molly! Are you Mommy's Special Girl?
Molly ( giggles & says) "YES!"

Hehe

Just recently, I went to change your diaper & when I opened it up I saw a nice suprise bc I didn't realize you had gone poo-poo so in shock I say "oooh, you dropped some bombs in there"

Not even realizing you were paying me any attention, I hear you giggle & say "Booombs"

LOL

You are a prissy girl! You have an obsession with purses or anything that looks like one. You love carrying them around the house & putting things in them.

You also have learned how to brush your hair. So you like to carry a brush around too. Sometimes you & Emma will take turns brushing eachother's hair and THAT melts my heart!

I love seeing you carry your baby dolls around. You almost always can be found snuggling them. You're favorites are your Minnie Mouse doll ( go figure) and youre Belle Barbie Doll.

You have also learned how to build with legos. You are great at that, and I love watching you concentrate so seriously as you do it.

As of your 19 Mo Birthday you are only taking your paci at bedtime & naptime.
When I walk into your room for naptime/bedtime you always point your index finger out towards the radio bc you like to "push the button" (play, on the cd player) bc you listen to your music while going to sleep.

You are still a great eater! Yet so Tiny! My Skinny Minnie girl was 18lbs 11oz (with your clothes on) when I took you to the Dr right at your 20 mo birthday.

Happy 20 Months Sweet Baby Girl! You will be having another birthday party before you know it! We are so proud at how far you have come!

Emma Grace, you are a trip!

Out of nowhere, you just started talking up a storm! You say so much now! My favorite, is hearing you say your animal sounds & when you try to copy Mommy when I sing to you. Hearing you try to sing melts my heart away!
Some of the humerous moments with your newfound ability to talk are as follows:

*Dinner time setting*
You & Molly are back & forth at standing up in your highchairs. I have said to sit countless times. so finally I say extremely stern
"Emma Grace, SIT down! Now I am loosing my patience with you. SIT!"

you take a deep breath & so sassy yet so innocently you say to me
" I  KNOOOW! I KNOOOW!"

Daddy & Mommy had to pick our mouths up off the floor! haha
We were not expecting that at all.

Another one is this:

You keep climbing up & down on the fire place, and again I sound like a broken record telling you girls over & over to get down. And of course you just smile at me & go about your business so Mommy says to you girls...."ONE!"  and what does Emma Grace say??? Oh but of course!
You say "Twooooo"
HA! SO glad you know after 1 comes  2 but that is not the point you silly child!

You are all about closing doors, and trying to open them. You love turning out the light at bed time, you are coming out of your "shell" and you are way more vocal & friendly. You play well with others, but you don't take much heat from other kids. You are quick to sas them &  tell them "no" or tell them to "go" haha.

You have started pretend play! You will hold youre dolls up and make them dance, you will pretend eat or drink.

You LOVE LOVE LOVE ring around the rosi!!!! Sometimes you will come up and just start tugging on my hand & I know that's what you want to do. I love seeing how big you & molly smile while playing this game with me!

Another favortie thing to do is you & molly will just start twirling in circles & laughing at yourselves when you get dizzy. Silly Girls!

Here you are spinning round & round

You are very competitive, and you love mimicking others.

You have started sometimes "hitting" and that is a big no no. We must fix that soon. I will be very sad if you hit the wrong kid one day. That wouldn't be pretty for you or me. :)

You are still so picky about what you eat. But Fettuccini Alfredo is a new favorite for you.

As of 19 months...you are only taking your paci at bedtime & nap time. Yay!!!

You are weighing 20lbs 15oz (with your clothes on) and you really amaze Daddy & Me with how grown up you are. You are slowly loosing the "baby" in you and it is a bittersweet transformation.
You make us so very proud! Happy 20 Months my Precious Love!

As soon as I have more time, I will be updating their 19 month picture album & creating a 20 Month Album.

Catching Up

Well, well,  here we finally are with my favorite photos from our trip earlier this week to see Pawpaw. Some of them uploaded sideways, so BOO but maybe if you turn your head the right angle you can see the picture the way its intended to be seen. :-P

The first few pictures are the girls w/ their cousins the night we dropped them off at my sister's.
She kept them for us as Rick, Kirasten, & I got to go spend time with my Pawpaw.

Happy Viewing!

Yes. that is a Jelly Fish on my sister's nose.
And yes...she is crazy. :)

He so Fly.

Our Beautiful Sunrise view!

So THIS is my husband freaking out like a little girl when the pigeons came after him! LOL

My Sister & Husband were a hoot with them darn things!

Pawpaw treated us all to a nice dinner at a Hibachi type place. Seriously the biggest buffet of asian food I have ever seen. Rick was in heaven as they had seafood galore!

I hate this picture is sideways. I absolutely love the laughter on his face!

My two favorite men!

Rick hates this picture. I love it.

When I was younger like 2-3 yrs old I remember an older lady taking care of me. I called her "Grandma Bonnie" & I remembered mom & I living in a blue trailor during that time.  While visting with Pawpaw I asked him where that "blue trailor" was & what was the story of how we knew "Grandma" Bonnie. He told me that the trailor was put beside a house him & Grandma bought.  They opened the house into a business where my Grandma sold children's clothes.  It was called Grandma's Baby Cottage.
"Grandma Bonnie" was a lady who took care of my Paw Paw's mom, & after I was born she would baby sit me for my mom to work.
Once they closed out "Grandma's Baby Cottage"
Bonnie rented the blue house from them & since mom & i lived in the blue trailor right next to her it made babysitting very convenient.

Here is Pawpaw & I standing infront of Grandma's Baby Cottage

Sadly the place is abandoned & not kept up but it was still fun getting to see it again!

We all had a great visit with Pawpaw & can't wait to do it again!
