Bedtime Drama!

My sweet snuggle bunny, Molly, has been throwin' some serious tantrums at night when it is bedtime. As soon as I walk into the nursery holding her she starts crying...before I even get near her crib. She is a smart one. She knows bedtime is coming. And trust, I don't lay my girls down for bed until I know it truly is time for them to get some sleep.

With that said the pictures you are about to see are pretty graphic. So don't look unless you can stomach it. :)

Tonight Molly threw such a tantrum that she made herself sick. I do not let her typically cry by herself for more than 5 minutes before I am in there trying to soothe her. And Right before she gets to her 5 minute mark, I hear her gurgling. So Rick & I both go running in there to check on her and this is what we found.

Yep. She was so angry, and pitched such a fit that she vomitted. And it went everywhere. While Rick was cleaning her crib, I was cleaning her. And while I was holding her she continued to throw up, because she was still crying! So, I wore it too. And so did our floors.

Even after her bath, When I got her all clean, I had to change her clothes again! Because...she threw up on herself again! While I am holding her! She was so worked up she couldnt be calmed down!

But no worries, this story doesn't end on such a pitiful note afterall.

I mean just LOOK at this sweet sweet smile! After her little tantrum...when she realized she was in Mommy's bed to stay...instead of her own...she was JUST fine! :)

Just Look at that precious face!

And they say My Girls Are Spoiled! Pssshhhh. ;)

Ever since they have started sleeping in their own beds...I have not resulted to letting them stay in ours. But last night she was just SO pitiful! I couldn't help but want to love on her. Plus, once I laid down with her Grey's Anatomy was on, and it was a pretty serious Tear Jerking Episode for me! I needed SOMEone to cuddle with :)

And of course I felt bad for Emma that Molly was getting all of this attention while she was stuck in her crib...so you got it....I took Emma out of her bed too! :)
I first cuddled up with them both on the couch then Daddy came along and wanted to hold one, so He took Emma and held her until she fell asleep.

Party Time Again!

Another side of my family threw my girls a party today to celebrate their 1st birthday! So we got to do the whole cake & presents thing all over again and it was so much fun. The older I get the more I enjoy spending more time with all sides of my family.

My Stepdad Terry who was with my mom & raised me from the time I was 3-18 is still  a very active part of our lives. And I only say step dad because many of you know my biological dad so I refer to Terry as "Step" to spare the confusion :) But in all reality...he is very much a dad to me.  He is often times the first person I turn to for help or advice and I am truly thankful for the bond that we have.

Here are some of my favorite moments from the girls party at their Papa's.

Courtney is Terry's wife's daughter. And my Girls just adore her!
And she adores them too!

Courtney & Emma

Courtney spent her own money to buy all the things she needed
to make the girls some cupcakes! So sweet!

At their 1st birthday party, Emma would not have anything to do with her cake.
This time she was still pretty hesitant at first

But Once I was able to sneak some into her mouth....
She decided it was worth smiling about :)

She liked it so much that she wanted to share it's greatness with her Mommy ;)

Thank You Emma Gracie! Such a sweet girl you are!

Now for Molly. She loved her Birthday Cake BOTH times it was given to her.
No hesitation for this sweet girl!

Oh Yes, It is Finger Lickin' Good

Ahhh Just love this precious face!

Sweet Molly! Mommy is so glad you enjoyed yourself! :)

PRESENT TIME!!!!
Emma was very excited about her new Sippy Cups from Aunt Tesha!

Molly seeming to be pretty determined to find out what's in that box!

This is Emma seconds after she stood up by herself for the 1st time!
I put her on her knees in her new toy box to take a picture and next thing I know she is standing!

I knew that her being able to pull her self up on things was coming soon, because for the longest time
she has been trying to stand on her feet by doing this....:)

Here are both the girls in their new Monogrammed Toy Boxes from their Papa, Joyce
& the Monogram Hand Painted by Great Grandmomma
Aren't the toy boxes just the cutest things ever! I love them!
The blankets I have hanging over them were hand made with love
From Courtney :)
I just love that sweet girl!

Terry's Dad, Mom, & Wife.
I wish I could remember what was so Funny!

Great Grandmomma lovin' on some Sweet Molly!

Where's Ryan?!
This is my silly nephew. He went off hiding and no one could find him.
After searching the whole house top to bottom, my sister Toni really started to panic.
And just as she frantically  says" I am about to throw up!".....Terry walked into an empty bedroom
and saw some covers on the bed moving.....and would you know....
There He Is!

Silly Boy! Almost had the entire house pass out from a stress attack!

No Honey, He has to keep that! You have your own. :)

Silly Emma trying to take Papa's lip!

And Probably My Most Favorite Picture from the Whole Night!

Road Trip!

Today we took our girls to N.C. to visit some family. We spent the day there, and had a lovely visit.
Our Cousin Mona, made us some fabulous Lasagna, salad, and bread for dinner. Seriously, the BEST Lasagna I have ever had! It was so tender and moist, it just melted in your mouth!
We will definitley be returning in the near future for some more of that! :)

Mark & Emma within the first few minutes that we arrived.
I was very shocked that she went right to him.
She normally clings to her Momma :)

Mona & Molly. I love the color blue on her!

Sweet Emma & Mark again

Little Jada reading a book to Molly & her Big Sister Tina :)

This Picture is so sweet. Jada is cracking up at Rick.

My Big Girl is learning so much right before my eyes!
She was rocking that horse as best as she could & her feet can't even touch the ground! :)
She has a smaller horse at home, that she can touch the ground with and she LOVES rocking it!

Miss Tina, Molly, Mr. Eric, & Emma

Look at that Big Grin on Molly's Face!
She apparently thought Ms. Lisa was very funny! :)

Thanks for having us come & visit! We Love You Guys & Hope to do it again Soon!

Our 1st Birthday Party!

Molly & Emma had a really nice birthday party at our home celebrated by many (45) of our friends & family. I have over 700 pictures from that day but have only uploaded a fraction of them. :)

Here Are Some of My Favorites!

Ms. Molly Showing Off Her Birthday Girl Dress!

Emma Looking So Adorable in Her Birthday Party Dress!

The Girls Dresses were surely made with Love! I picked out all the materials & Our Friends Sheila & Annette made them happen! I am very thankful for their hard work!

Sweet Molly

 Sweet Little Em

When you come in the front door I had a table set up of
2 Pink 1st Birthday Teddy Bears for the guest to sign for the girls. A basket of  party favors,
and I put together an album w/ their names on it, for each Molly & Emma of pictures of their 1st year. The albums were full with the exception of leaving some pages blank so there would be room for pics from their 1st birthday party.

Thank You Cards for the Guests

Pink & Green Teddy Bear Suckers that Ms. Jessica came over & made!
( I get slight credit for wrapping them & tying the ribbon! ;) )

And her Aunt says,"because they don't know you" and Olga in all her Serious Silliness says "Oh!!" and then walks back over to the dogs and says "HI, Doggies, I am Olga"

The Girls got Special Monogrammed TuTu Bathing suits from their Aunt Stacey!

I think the girls recieved 4 Swimsuits each at their party! This one, and then one from Aunt Kirasten, one from Ms. Christine, and one from their Nannie & Papa! I am very excited about their swimsuit collection because when we take them on vacation to the beach this year, all of our pictures won't look like they were taken on the same day. ha! :)

I Love This Picture of Emma Checking Out Her Minnie Mouse
that Aunt Toni Brought Her Back from Disney World!

 Absolutely ADORABLE!!! LOVE it!
Thank You Aunt Kathy!

Emma was not so sure about her cake! She really just wanted her bottle!

Molly on the other hand, dove right in :)

Love This Picture!

The Girls with Their Cousins Jackson & Savannah

After their party was over we took the girls outside to play.
They Look So Prissy in their headbands their Granny got them!

This Picture of Molly puts a huge smile on my face!!

And This Picture of Emma just Melts My Heart Away!

If there is 1 thing I can't get enough of, it's hairbows for the girls! I have a serious addiction!
They recieved many bow holders at their party. Their Cousin Tanna made them one, their Aunt Ashley made them one, Our Friend Becca got them one, and Our Friend Maria got them one.

Everyone felt bad that we got so many, and at first I did too. But then I went to put bows on all of our bow holders and we filled 3 of them up completely from top to bottom with a total of  80 hairbows!

Yes you read that right. So we have a 4th bow holder also hanging in their room for all the future hairbows we get, And I am certain we will somehow make room for the 5th one.

SO, I say all that to say....we very much appreciate all of our bowholders! I think they look great hanging in the girls room, and they were obviously very much needed

After a Long, Fun Day, the Girls Relax Peacefully in Their New Swings from Mommy & Daddy!

I thoroughly enjoyed the girls 1st birthday, and I know that they did too. Ms. Deborah, Jessica, and Kathy...I have to say Thank You so very much for helping Rick and I make this party possible! You each were so very helpful to us with the details of it all and we love you very much!

And of Course, Thank You to my Sister Toni, for their AMAZING Strawberry cream-filled Birthday cake! It turned out even more beautiful than I had hoped for. Absolutely Gorgeous!
