Party Time Again!

Another side of my family threw my girls a party today to celebrate their 1st birthday! So we got to do the whole cake & presents thing all over again and it was so much fun. The older I get the more I enjoy spending more time with all sides of my family.

My Stepdad Terry who was with my mom & raised me from the time I was 3-18 is still  a very active part of our lives. And I only say step dad because many of you know my biological dad so I refer to Terry as "Step" to spare the confusion :) But in all reality...he is very much a dad to me.  He is often times the first person I turn to for help or advice and I am truly thankful for the bond that we have.

Here are some of my favorite moments from the girls party at their Papa's.

Courtney spent her own money to buy all the things she needed

to make the girls some cupcakes! So sweet!

At their 1st birthday party, Emma would not have anything to do with her cake.

This time she was still pretty hesitant at first

But Once I was able to sneak some into her mouth....

She decided it was worth smiling about :)

She liked it so much that she wanted to share it's greatness with her Mommy ;)

Thank You Emma Gracie! Such a sweet girl you are!

Now for Molly. She loved her Birthday Cake BOTH times it was given to her.

PRESENT TIME!!!!

Emma was very excited about her new Sippy Cups from Aunt Tesha!

I put her on her knees in her new toy box to take a picture and next thing I know she is standing!

I knew that her being able to pull her self up on things was coming soon, because for the longest time

she has been trying to stand on her feet by doing this....:)

This is my silly nephew. He went off hiding and no one could find him.

After searching the whole house top to bottom, my sister Toni really started to panic.

And just as she frantically  says" I am about to throw up!".....Terry walked into an empty bedroom

and saw some covers on the bed moving.....and would you know....
