Fun with Cousins

Molly & Emma played with their cousins this evening, & here are some of my favorites of their time together.

Silly Giggle Faces!

I think this one is my favorite! It has so much character to it!

It humored me when I saw their faces, & then I saw the sign above Uncle Rick's head.
:-)

Jackson is such a helpful big cousin!

Look at my sweet Molly's big ole grin!

Love this of Emma & Savannah! Sweet girls!

haha! I know her face says differently, but they really love this thing!

Emma

Oh Lawd, she just may be her Daddy's girl after all!

Is that a hug or a choke hold? LOL

We had a great time being together this evening! The girls loved getting to play with their cousins!

Weekend with Granny

We have been blessed the past few days to have Rick's Granny stay with us.
We truly enjoyed having her here, and so did the girls!
I didn't take many pictures (shocker!) but we did make many memories and that's what really counts. :-)

Story time with Granny

 And Giggles with Granny! ;)

We love you Granny!
We are so happy that we got some extra time with you!

Day 3-Success?!!!

Today was day 3 of our 3 Day Potty Training method, and I am happy to say I feel like it has been a success! Success, as in the girls are actually practicing what it means to use the big girl potty. Success, as in, we achieved way more these past 3 days than I ever thought we would!
Success does not mean they are completely potty trained, but it does mean we are on the right track!

On day 1 ,2 , & 3 Emma went potty FIVE times each day, 2 of those days included a BM, & I was beginning to think that after today, I would just focus on Emma & start again with Molly in 6-8 weeks since she has not used the potty yet.
BUT... Molly showed me out!!!

After nap time , She finally went pee pee in the big girl potty today!!!!! I am so beside myself!!!
YAY!!!! Molly, Mommy is so dang proud of you baby girl!!!

And Look!! She is proud of herself too!! :-)
So, IF she continues to show interest in using the potty, then it looks like we will be full blast potty training around here for a while!
I am so proud of them, & just can not believe that it's already time for us to be entering this next chapter of their little lives. They are growing too fast for my liking, but I am so thankful I have them & am able to watch them grow!

Let the potty training begin!

Today, I started Day One of the Three Day Potty Training method!
Though, Emma has been showing all the signs of being ready to start training, she has shown zero interest in a desire to use her big girl potty chair!
So, when I went in to today, I really wasn't sure what to expect with this whole training thing. At best, I was praying for at least ONE big girl accomplishment!

I am completely beside myself, that Emma Grace went on her big girl potty FIVE times today!!!!  And one of those was a poo poo!!!!
I mean, am I just being a proud momma? Or is that pretty dang good for her very first day of using a big girl potty???
I am SOOOOO stinking proud!!!! :-))))

This is just moments after her very first pee pee :-)
I actually snapped this picture while she was telling her daddy that
" I pee pee in po-E, Da-E!"
She was so proud!

I can't wait to see what the next week or two will hold. Was today just beginners luck? Or is this something she will continue with?

I can't wait to see!!!!

And let me just add, Bless my sweet Molly's heart! Every time Emma went potty in the big girl potty, I would pick her up & just dance & sing really loud, & toss her in the air, & just make a huge deal about it, & the whole time I am dancing, Molly is holding on to my legs, jumping up & down laughing & saying " pee pee, po-E! Pee pee, po-E"

She was excited thinking she did something too, when in fact she did not. :-(  Bless her heart!
She will get there! I know she will, especially with Emma showing her the ropes.
But she is at least sitting on the potty, so I have faith. :-)
It's bound to happen I know!

Congratulations to my big girls, as they tackle yet another milestone! I am so very proud of both you! Mommy loves you to the moon & back, a gazillion times!

Myrtle Beach Getaway

Myrtle Beach, 2012

I am pretty sure by the end of the summer we will have all turned into beach bunnies! This past weekend was our 3rd trip to the beach already this summer, & the summer ain't over yet. ;)

I have tons of pictures that I wanted to share so I just separated them by categories so that I don't have to lable each picture. :)

Thanks for viewing!
Emma

um, yes, I got my toys, ready to play-you know how that go

Emma & Uncle Thomas

Now THIS is something to be proud of!
My child has a hand FULL of MUD!!! This has never happened!
She despises getting her hands dirty!
Guess we can thank her boy cousin for showing her how its done, bc prior to this moment-
she would never have anything to do with touching the sand!

hehe Emilee & Megan are always asking to pick my girls up.
It cracks me up bc my girls are getting so big now, but they are still "babies" to their cousins. :)

sweet kisses for mommy

being silly with her daddy!
he was trying to get her to do a split lol

hahahaha!

love this sweet picture of Emma with her cousin Ryan!

These kinda moments, just make me so much more grateful for the time spent with family.
I mean you can just hear their giggles in this picture!

After a day at the pool, what better way to dry off then to bounce in the sun?

Molly

One of my favorites.
Just love them!

beautiful precious girls!

Mommy stealing some Molly love.
Actually, I didn't have to steal it.
The girl is attached to my hip. lol

Now this is a girl, not afraid to get dirty.
Love that muddy face!!!

Sup, Ya'll?

You will have to click to enlarge this, just bc it is so hilarious.
Ryan & Molly sharing a sweet moment together, & then there's grumpster in the background.
Haha
I really had no idea she was pouting until I saw this picture!! LOL

Daddy & Molly practicing breathing under water.

Ready...Set....

Go!!!

Just a typical  Molly Meltdown.
You know how that goes...

Megan

Megan found a real live sea slug & apparently it was a big deal!
Their daddy insisted on taking the shell home & Megan was quite proud of herself. :)

After we spent the day on the beach, we came back to the house & while Molly & Emma were napping
I helped the older kiddos make us a couple of homemade pizza's for lunch!

Ryan stirring up the dough

Megan shaped the dough into a circle & Emilee sauced up the pizza & added the cheese.

After Ryan added the Pepperoni's Megan put our pizza in the oven to bake!
It turned out wonderfully! Great job guys!

My whole heart right here!!

We had such a fun time this weekend at the beach with my sister & nieces & nephew.
The kids all played so well with each other! It was definitely time well spent.
