"Scary Moooooonster!"
This has become a fun game for us all. Emma will just yell " Scary Mooooonster" and she & Molly will take off running & screaming and they will come find me or Rick and Emma will tell us "oh no! a scary monster!" and Molly will echo her "oh no! a scary monster" and then of course Mommy & Daddy will play along with the oooh's and the oh my gaaah's and then we all scream and off they go running again! heheThey are so fun! Lately, the Scary Monster has become a scary Dragon!
" Help! It's a Jagon..."
"Help me! Save Me!"
I don't know where this came from but she says it a lot! She is my drama queen for sure! She will loudly exclaim.."help me save me as she runs around the house trying to convince someone to save her! Save her from what? I'm not sure, but Molly usually comes to her rescue! :-)
"I Coming!"
Yea, this is the answer I get when I tell her to come here, and she doesn't want to come here.Or when I tell her to do something or to stop doing something...I almost always get "I coming" out of her mouth. Sometimes, it's not even the grammatically correct response, but I know what she means by it....she means...I'm not going to but I am going to try to make you think that I am about to!!
Booger!
"I wanna hab a tea potty"
Rick and I have very recently been catching the girls climbing up to the reach the minature Noah's ark tea set that has been on their dresser since they were babies. We have even caught them with the tiny pieces up to their mouth! This has surprised me as they have never really been ones to put things they shouldn't in their mouth! Every time we catch them up there we tell them, no, get down, etc...thinking they are just being michevious! Well, About 2 days before Christmas Emma told me "i wanna hab a tea potty" and I asked her "Baby how are you gonna have a tea party?" (We don't have anything to do a tea party with.)
She led me to her room, and pointed up to the dresser where her teeny tiny Noah's ark set sits and said
"tea potty".....And THEN...it all made sense to me!!! They weren't being mischievious! They were just trying to have a tea party!!!! Bless their hearts. That day, I went out to buy them a real tea party play set and was surprised to find nothing! The shelves had been wiped clean due to Christmas being just a couple days away. I called my mom and asked her to look for one, because her Walmart doesn't usually get wiped clean like ours does. And thankfully....She found one!!! It came with a tea cart on wheels and all! :-)
Tea Party....SMH so dang sweet!
"I wanna watch Bardie"
For several weeks now we have heard "I wanna watch Bardie" ...we have gone through every character we could possibly think of to figure out her Bardie is. They don't even know who Barney is so that was out of the question. But we racked our brains. One night Ms. Deborah came over to see us and she brought the girls some dress up clothes. She pulled one of the dresses out of the bag and it has a picture of Barbie. Emma got so excited "Bardie Bardie Bardie!" she squealed.
Rick and I looked at eachother and smiled.
Hallelujah! Mystery finally solved! Thank you Ms. Deborah!!!!
A"I sawwy. I not mean too"
Anytime she is being corrected for doing something she shouldn't have done, in the sweetest, softest voice she will say "I sawwy. I not mean too"
She can melt your heart in a minute but it's usually for literally just a minute. Then she is back to having to be corrected again. LOL
"Mom"
Mom???? Seriously??? Is my 2 year old really trying to call me Mom already??? She is too grown for her britches sometimes.I am Mommy. Mom is too grown up for you. Geeze,Emma stay my whittle girl as long as possible! "mom" is a grown up word. I wanna be your MOMMY not your MOM!!!! :-/
"Me go first"
Evvvvverything is a competition these days between Emma & Molly. Emma usually tries to get ahead by saying " Me go first" It humors me how at two...they come up with stuff like "me go first"...it's incredible how they just learn what certain words even mean! I mean how does she know that first means She will go before her sister??? I know....i am easily amused by the things they pick up. :)
But if it's something she doesn't want to do...like get her hair washed...she is quick to say "sis, you go first" LOL
"Sis, you got to eat your shicken or you don't haba snack"
A few nights ago we were having dinner and Emma finished before Molly did. And I usually let them have a snack if they eat all their food. Well, Emma told Molly, " Sis, you got to eat your shicken, or you don't haba snack" Lol...and when Molly finished her chicken Emma said to her "Gate job sis, I so powd you" :-)
Emma is SUCH a little momma!! She takes charge, and is just a hoot to watch. Molly is usually such a good sport too and goes along with whatever her sissy says!
"Sis"
I don't know why Emma has started calling me Mom, her sissy SIS, yet Daddy doesn't have to be Dad???
What's up with that???
"My Feener"
Emma is in an "owie" phase. She always wants us to know that something hurts. Even tho, nothing ,most of the time is wrong we go along with her act because it's so darn hilarious watching her try to fake us out.
Her most recent "owie" is her feener! LOL i don't know why but hearing her try to say finger makes me chuckle everytime.
Silly Emma, you my dear are full of so much personality it is amazing. You are our little actress for sure!!!
I love you too pieces my little funny bunny!!!
"Oh Brudder"
"Oh Brudder"
I swear I do not know how she comes up with this stuff but she does! Sometimes when she gets overwhelmed or caught off guard she will just sigh and say "Oh Brudder" hahaha!
"Baby Girl"
Molly & Emma often horse play around, and it's always so much fun until someone gets hurt, right?
Today they were playing & all of a sudden Molly starts crying "owie sissy hurt me" and so I told Emma to please apologize and be more careful next time. And she so very sweetly turns to Molly & says
" I sawwy, baby girt" ( ours L's sound like T's right now)
LOL it was the sweetest thing I think that has come out of her mouth yet! "I sawwy baby girt" ...she is just too big for her britches sometimes! I guess that is the little Momma in her :-)
She has so much personality, I swear I could make this blog post a mile long, if I haven't yet!
Thanks for reading, I hope you got a smile or two out of this post! :-)
