Hey Guys,
The Peditricians office finally called me this evening.
They said that the test they did today was a more extensive look at her colon and based on the results today her colon seems to be normal in size and working properly.
She does have excess build up and they want me to give her a suppository tonight and tomorrow as well as her laxative twice a day and if after tomorrow she still hasnt been able to go to the bathroom they will refer her to a specialist.
Molly has been on prunes daily for a few weeks now, and has been taking laxatives twice a day this week, and she had a enema as well as a suppository and she is still having trouble being able to go to the bathroom.
We aren't sure what is causing this problem but the good news is, it isn't her colon not working properly which is what we originally were told.
I am hoping in the next day or 2, she will be able to go on her own without having to strain, cry and throwup like she has been doing.
So just keep praying that she can have this problem resolved and that it will be an easy fix and nothing major wrong with her.
I am extremely thankful that the test today brought us good news!
I don't understand how the test today, showed something totally different than the x-rays the other day but I am not complaining. :)
