The girls had their 4 month check up today and let me tell you it was like trying to recruit an army to be able to get my girls seen today.
At their last 2 month check up they had their shots and while we were checking out I scheduled their 4 month checkup for today, July 19th. I am 100% positive about this.
Well we never got a confirmation phone call from the office reminding us about our appt so that morning we called them and well I'll be if they did not even have my girls on the schedule!
They didnt have them on there for today or at all in the future...I was so frustrated because I had planned for their shots to be today because Rick is off and I didnt want to go alone. And I specifically remember getting an appointment card and all that had July 19th written on it.
The lady at the desk told me she was sorry but they didnt have anything available until August.
Ha, I told her I was very sorry too because my appointment was scheduled today and I cant help that they goofed on their end but my girls needed their shots today. :)
No worries, I was very nice about it. And an hour later, and after speaking to 4 different people...my girls were able to be seen today.
I have worked in customer service before and when there is an error on the business end of things, the customer should not be the one to go without.
I didnt want my girls having to wait until August for their 4 month shots because they will be 5 months old and then that will push them getting their 6 month shots behind too.
Anyways,
The Stuff you really want to know!
I had guessed Emma being around 10 and a half pounds and well dun-dun-dun
I was very close! She weighed 10lbs 13oz!
I guessed Molly being 12lbs and well I am sad to say, I was off.
She just seems so much more than 5 ounces bigger than Emma to me. But I guess not. She weighed 11 lbs 1oz!
Now for being very premature, they technically are only suppose to be about 9 weeks old. And if you think about it, it makes sense. Although they were born on March 19th they werent due until May 13th and so the way I see it is they were just growing on the outside instead of on the inside those extra 8 weeks. :)
Now given their adjusted age...9 weeks they are in the 50th and 75th percentile on their weights and height.
But if you are going by their actual age...they are in the 5th and 10th percentiles for their weight and height. Which, hey...atleast they are on the charts for that! :)
Emma was 22 inches and Molly was 22 and a half inches long.
Their head circumfrence is 15 1/2 inches.
I will continue to add lots of pictures to their album, so anytime you need some Molly and Emma in your life, you can see lots of them there! :)
