They are cooing quite often now, laughing and smiling always! And Today,Miss Molly even let out a squeal! They are getting pretty good at this rolling to their side thing, still waiting on them to be able to roll all the way over though.
They love to use their hands. They are always putting their hands in their mouth, clasping their hands together, lifting their dresses up, pulling blankets next to their face, and they love to touch each other.
They are both scooters! They love to scoot! It is amazing the different positions I find them in when the morning comes and I go to get them out of bed.
Every night that i put them in bed, no matter how far apart I put them they always seem to wind up next to eachother and touching hands.
Right now they are sleeping together in the bassinet part of the pack and play in our room, but seeings how they are moving a lot more now I am thinking its time to make a change before they end up rolling on top of eachother and getting hurt.
My first thought was "Oh No! Im being forced to put them in their room before I am ready..." But then it dawned on me....Nope, we happen to have TWO bassinets. One in our room and then one in our living room. So the one in the living room will just have to relocate :-)
I would not do well at this point with them in another room. They are just so tiny and they still need me! Or maybe I need them?
Plus, their acid reflux is pretty bad. They have choking spells, where out of a dead sleep they will start crying and try to gasp for air as milk is coming out of their nose and they are arching their backs because their chest is burning.
When this happens I fly out of the bed and quickly pick them up so that they dont choke. My fear is that if I were to put them in another room through the night that I would not be able to get to them as quickly as they may need me too.
So, for as long as they can fit in their bassinets I am going to keep them next to me.
Ive been saying "Ma-Ma" to them often, in hopes that you know...just MAYBE they will want to say Ma-Ma first and besides, if Ma-Ma is the only thing they ever hear...then you know...that will be all they know. But I slipped up one day, and Rick heard me saying Ma-Ma to them so now he has started saying "Da-Da"....yep I now have competition! :-)
Emma is going through this phase where she is very sensitive to how people approach her. There have been several times where people have gotten in her face whether its to say "Hi Pretty girl" OR whether they are playing and say "Ah-Boo!" and it scares her. And she will cry and cry sometimes for ten minutes she will cry. :-(
Both girls are sleeping through the night. They usually have their last bottle between 10pm and 12 and then they dont get their next bottle until about 6:30 the next morning.
I just love them too pieces!
I posted lots of new pictures in their albums!
