Christmas Eve

Every Year we spend Christmas Eve with my Dad & Kat. 

It is such a joy to now have Sophie added to our family gatherings! 

My Dad fixed an amazing dinner tonight. 

It couldn't have been better if we went to the best restaurant in town! 

We had fried mozzerella w/ marinara sauce & ceasar salad for an appetizer, and then homemade lasagna. It was yuuuummy! 

Kat made some kind of dessert bars that were to die for! I don't even know everything that was in them but they were wonderful!

Grumpaw, Kat, & Soph gave Molly & Emma a wagon for Christmas!

Daddy took them for a ride around the house, & the block! 

 They love their new ride! 

These girls are the best of friends! 

I am thankful every day that they have each other!

Our Traditional Christmas Tree Picture!

We have had our picture made in front of a Christmas tree every year since we've met!

 This is a "trick" that Jason ( the dog) does & my dad & rick find it hilarious. 

If you howl....Jason howl's back! And the louder you howl, the louder he howls. 

If you know my husband, you know he loves to get carried away...haha

So Jason's howl can be very ear piercing! lol 

We had a wonderful time together tonight for sure!!!

Now time for some Christmas Eve pictures before "santa" comes. 

I have the hardest time getting my kids to let me take a posed picture of them these days!

Especially a picture of them together!

So I sat the girls in front of the tree for photo attempt #999 & thought if I had daddy to come around the corner holding their giant Minnie that

 it would put a smile on their face & I could get a quick snapshot. 

BUT my girls love Minnie SO much, that before I could even blink, 

Molly had darted into the air, racing to grab Minnie out of Daddy's arms.
