I need to be pinched or something, because it truly does not seem like it has been this long! I hear all the time from people who stop me in the stores and they will look at me with such sympathy and they say, " don't worry, it does get easier, I have twins myself..."
I usually just look at them and smile, and in my head thinking, "How could it get any easier?? I have wonderful babies!!" Time doesn't go by slow for me at all. It is going by faster every day. Don't get me wrong, having two babies definitley keeps me moving and keeps me on my toes, but it has been the absolute best and most rewarding 11 months of my life. I have truly been blessed with two beautiful, well behaved, fun-loving little girls. They are the air I breathe. I love them so much!!
Molly on Her 11 Month Birthday!
At 11 Months, My little Molly appears to be my lazy one. :-) She has no interest in learning to crawl, or to go from a laying to sitting position by herself. I am lucky she actually feeds herself her own bottle now. :)
She still prefers to roll or scoot on her belly to get from point A to point B. She is usually pretty good about not getting into anything other than her toys.
One thing she does right now that is so funny to us, is she will shake her head no. She used to only do this when she was mad about getting her diaper or clothes changed, but now she does it as a game. And I have to admit at egging her on, because she is so adorable doing it. If you look at her and say "Molly!" while shaking your head no, she starts giggling while grinning ear to ear and she shakes her head no. haha
She is my Miss Personality. She seems to be the one that is the most out going with strangers, and while she is the more social one, she has recently started giving this "bashful" look when first being approached.
The past few times we have been out, while I was holding her people would come up and she would smile at them while burying her head into my chest. And while she is laying her head on my chest, she is looking at them with this sweet little smirk on her face.
Molly is still struggling with her bowels. I am not sure what will be done about this. But she is still unable to go potty without help. She has to have laxatives and suppository's to keep her cleaned out otherwise she gets backed up and has to strain so hard she throws up in order to go potty. :( Please continue to pray that this issue can be resolved.
Molly now has the hang of how to feed herself when I put small snacks on her tray. I am very proud of her for this because there was a time that she would get the snacks in her hand and then just smile real big at me like "what now, mommy?" haha
Molly still hasnt got any teeth! I am ok by this though, because I love her big toothless smile! :)
She is so snuggly and loveable. Always so happy! And loves to be talked to. My sweet sweet Molly, 11 Months old already, I just can't believe it's true! I love you Miss Molly!
Emma Grace on her 11 Month Birthday!
At 11 Months, I have decided that Emma is definitely my more sassy one! She has this "uhh" sound she makes whenever things aren't going her way. She humors me by this. I just can't believe that at such a young age she already has some sas to her!
While she does have some attitude to her, she is also very timid. Depending on her mood she may or may not let people she isnt familiar with, hold her and when we were at her cousin's birthday party, this person in a "Monkey" costume approached her and she freaked out. She isn't quite as laid back as her sister is. :)
Emma is also my mischievious one. She is the busy body. Rarely sits still and is into everything. She has recently taken an interest in pulling herself up on things. She has not yet come to a standing position but she is very close.
And she is just seconds away from crawling all over the place. She is soooo close to crawling that I can't stand it. I am scared if I go to the bathroom or look away for a second I will miss it. She get's on her knees rocks back and forth, "crawls" backwards, and even puts one leg forward but then she flops onto her belly instead of bringing that 2nd leg forward. She is soooo close!
And as of 1 week ago today, She is also going from a laying to sitting position by herself! It is so cute to watch her do this. She will lay on her belly and pull herself up on her knees and then scoot back until she is on her butt.
She figures things out very quickly. She too is very smiley and giggly and loves attention! She has two teeth and I love watching her try to feed herself. She crams that food in her mouth so fast and then grins real big and giggles about it. She has so much personality.
My precious Little Emma, you have come so far. Mommy can't believe you are 11 Months old! It happened way too fast! I love you Miss Emma!
