16 Weeks

Before I update on the girls, I want to ask you all to please say a prayer for my grandad. He has battled lung cancer for a couple years now and for the past several weeks he has been in the hospital fighting Valley Fever. My dad just told me that my grandad is shutting down. SO please say a prayer for him and for our family.

Im not really sure what to think of all this. In the back of my mind I just keep saying Grandpa Roger will be just FINE! So that's what I will continue to think.

Please just pray that God would heal his body.

About two weeks ago I stuck a card in the mail for him full of pictures of the girls and then the darn thing came back to me needing 17 more cents! Ugh! So I resent it a few days ago. I hope it gets to him soon.Hopefully hearing from us, will put a smile on his face. I know how miserable hospitals can be as I spent quite a few months in one.

My grandad lives in California and my dad is flying out there to be with him on Tuesday. Pray for safe travels.

The girls at 16 weeks- What a very BIG difference!



For Me, so far, I think the hardest part about being a mom is knowing that the time I have for my children to be babies is very limited. These moments with them curled up in my arms and waking up to their precious little giggles is passing a lot quicker than I want it too.

I look at them today and think "Gosh, yall are getting SO big" but then I am reminded what seems so big today will seem so small tomorrow because each day they are going to get bigger than the day before.

I try to take as many pictures as I can and I try to update as many as possible on their web albums so that should anything ever happen to this sometimes piece of crap lap top of mine, I will always have these memories stored somewhere else.

So 16 weeks already, I just cant believe it.

The girls are really laughing and smiling all the time now. I think this has got to be my favorite stage so far. I mean their laughs are so darn cute! And they smile so big you can see their gum line. I LOVE IT!!

Here are some 16 week pictures for you to enjoy, and I have uploaded several new ones to their new 16-20 week album and I will continue to upload to this albums through out the next few weeks. Whenever a new picture is posted to the album you have to scroll all the way to the end of the album to view it. Incase you havent noticed, the new pictures are not at the top. :)

Their 4 month check up is coming up soon. The 19th I believe. I am not looking forward to them needing their shots but I am looking forward to finding out their weights! They are getting to be so squooshy! I just love it! :)

My guess is around or over 12lbs for Molly and around or over 10.5 possibly 11 lbs for Emma.

We will see how close I am!
