This and That

This is what my girls looked like today for their day around town

Love this happy little girl!! (Emma)

Pretty Molly

My favorite time of day, is when I have the moments to just do this!!

So we had an eventful day today.
I love my girls. Even in the middle of the night when they are both dirty, crying, and hungry at the same time. Even when I have had all of 5 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours and my girls are wide awake. Even when I am running all over creation from this Dr to that Dr.... Even though, I get peed on, puked on, and everything else,I just love it. I love being a mommy. I love the sleepless nights (although there are days it catches up to me...thank goodness for the days Daddy is off, to let me get some rest!)
The moments when one baby is crying and I pick her up and she stops instantly, the moments when they fall asleep on my chest, the moments when they look at you and coo or smile, make all of the tiresome moments so incredibly worth it.

We had 2 appts today. Molly had to see the neurologist this morning, and everything checked out great. Her head has grown in size a good bit within the past 2 weeks. She has gone from 12 1/2 inches to 14 1/4 inches. But the Dr examined her head and said that he felt she was fine and he didnt need to see us again for another month.

Molly and Emma both are in the 90% for their head circumference. However, maybe its because a mother's love is blind but i just do not think their heads are that big!

After leaving that appt we had time in between before our next one so we went and visited their Nannie ( my mother in law) at her work. She was very excited to see them. Sweet Little Emma decided while Nannie was holding her, to projectile all over Nannies boss. And I mean it went every where. On her back, on her chair, all over the phone. It was quite an ordeal. That darn reflux. It came all out of her nose and everything. It was a mess.

After leaving there we came home for all of 2 hours before we headed back out again. Their eye appt went well. Their eyes are looking good. Just as I expected, they hated the eye exam. I held their tiny hand through the exam and tried to talk to them to calm them down, and after the Dr was done I just held them and loved on them. We go for our final exam on the 26th. Thank goodness this is the last one. I know the girls will never remember these, but I also know that I will never forget them. I hate seeing them so scared,And hearing their cry so pitiful. :(

Since the eye dr was on his side of town, when we left we went and saw their granddaddy (my dad) at his work. He is the head Chef for a retirement home, and lets just say we made those sweet old people's day. They loved looking at my girls! And of course I loved it too. I love seeing other people admire them.

You know I have heard before "look at those cheeks" but today I heard something new and It really makes me laugh to think about it. This lady at my dad's work says to me referring to Emma " My,my, look at them JAWS" hahahahaha Guess you had to be there! All I can say is, she got it from her daddy!

My dad sent some food home with me, so of course I had to share with Rick so I dropped him some off at work then headed home. A friend of mine came over tonight and brought us some home made lasagna and bread and it was fabulous! We will get several meals out of that.

My grandma from California is coming in town this weekend and staying the week. I am so excited about her meeting her 1st great grandchildren! I have been her only granddaughter for 25 years, all her children had boys. So now Molly and Emma are her next generation of granddaughters. I cant wait for her to meet them!

The girls have had their bath, and are sleeping soundly so I am going to go join them for the next hour and a half before time to feed again.

Until next time...
